I Absolutely Love Happiness

Hi Blogosphere, it's been a while. I've been busy living a passion filled life. I hope that you are doing the same. I love living a passion filled life, don't you? What's in store for us? Whatever it may be, I'm positive we're ready for it. As long as we're being true to our authentic self, we're absolutely ready for it. Life has so much more than we can imagine. Whatever you imagine, just remove the limits. It has even more to offer you than that. We just have to take one step at a time and live by faith. When you live by faith in the unseen versus the seen, that's when you're really living. When your reality is your dreams and not what is in front of you. That’s when you're really living. Wow, I'm so happy. I absolutely love happiness. I am happiness's #1 Fan. I pray that you have a wonderful week. I hope to see you soon in the blogosphere. Ciao.

Challenges and Fighters

Challenges. When facing challenges, we may often experience a period of uncertainty. When you believe with every part of your being that things are supposed to turn out a certain way. Yet, everything around you is telling you otherwise. When life is a fight for you, I mean a real fight. For anyone pursuing a passion, life is a fight. Why is that? Because when you are pushing forward, opposition will do everything in its power to deter you. To cause you to stop and turn back. It's at those moments, you have to push even harder. Or sometimes just go to sleep. Extreme, I know....You fight and then rest. Fight and then rest.

There is nothing in the world, that can stop you from achieving your place in this life. You operating in your calling, gives others the freedom to operate in their calling. In your destiny lies tremendous ability to affect others’ lives in a positive way. To be a blessing to others. To serve as hope to others. When you reach your destiny, it's not just about you. It's also about others who will be moved to aspire greatness because of you.

When you are facing challenges. Do not fret. Take it as a great compliment. It means that you are doing something right. Opposition doesn't bother with people without aspirations for greatness. But, it's shaken by those that are aware of the gold inside of them. And do everything in their power, to make their mark in this world. Keep pushing, sleep, nap, pray, do whatever you have to do. Because trust and believe, if you are operating in your calling and you're following the set path ahead of you. You will win against all odds. And the days of challenges will be such a distant memory, compared to the days of victory. Enjoy your day.

This, I Know To Be True

This, I know to be true. Laughter is good for the soul. Love moves your heart like no other. Food is tasty when it's fried, but healthier when not. Green liquids nurture your inner cells. Dogs give unconditional love. Writing is the best thing since sliced bread, no makeup or camera required. Pajamas and a computer are all you need. Traveling is a requirement in life. One must be exposed to other cultures. Financial education should begin in kindergarten. Money is needed for all givers. One way to make a difference in the lives of others is through financial seed. Makeup is nice, but a clean face and a smile does wonders.

Men are a gift from God. Passion is living. Without it one is only existing. The sun changes your mood in an instant. Do what you feel as long as it's moving you forward versus backward. A smile changes an interaction with someone instantly. Laughter is contagious. Dancing brings out your youthful side. Marriage should be embraced. Everyone is not meant to be married. Everyone is not meant to be single. Whatever category you fall in, don't make any apologies. Whether you’re an introvert or extravert, don't make apologies for who you are. Try new foods, it's great for the palate. True friends are a blessing from God. Cherish and nurture the friendships. Embrace where you come from, it's a great foundation for where you're going. Beauty is nice, but an awesome personality can't be denied. What's in the heart, far outshines what's on the outside.

#Winning #Tigerblood

"I think #Tigerblood means that no matter what challenges you encounter. What is flowing through you declares you're  #winning in the end."  Juan Hagger aka “Me”

A lot of peeps are discussing one particular man right now. I'll refer to him as “Mr. Unemployed Winner.” I'm usually the last to catch on to some worldwide news. But thanks to Twitter, I know exactly what’s going on. Well, almost. Someone tweeted, he was going to be on Piers Morgan.  Although, I don't know the details of his proclaimed shenanigans. I do know this. I sat and watched his interview for 1 hour. That's the only interview of his that I watched. That man had me laughing like I don't know what. In fact, he had me laughing for 2 days straight.

I told someone, "I know this is a serious situation. But, I can’t stop laughing. I can’t see anything but his humor." He has a gift and it’s humor. The wonderful thing about a gift. It does not dull or gray just because you are going through something. He had me crying with laughter. I couldn't stop laughing. I was walking in Ralphs on day 2 of my laughter journey. Just the thought of one of his words caused me to laugh out loud. I cherish laughter; it is a gift to us all.

I silently know this man is in a battle. What type of battle? The battle of the mind.  When I see him, I do not judge him. I look at him and know he could be anyone. Take away the money and the cameras. He could be our family member, a professor, or a homeless person. He was straight forward in his interview. No self imposed sensor. If you are straight forward without any bull, I am immediately engaged. Who cares if your reality is different from mine? I respect that you are staying true to yourself. People question his sanity. I read an article which stated, “Abraham Lincoln had a nervous breakdown at age 27.” He turned out to be our President. (Note: I’ve never met Abe, therefore we should take quote with a grain of sea saltJ

So, this is what I want to leave with you today. At some point in life we are either going through a storm, coming out of one, or entering one. How we handle it, has much to do with how prepared we are before it even hits us. I’m from Texas and we have hurricanes. When we initially find out one is coming our way. We hit up the grocery store and buy water, Vienna sausages, all kinds of canned goods, candles, tape, etc...We get ready! We secure the house and prepare to kick it inside, while the outside is wrecking pure havoc. I say kick it, because my family used to kiiiicckk it, during the hurricanes. We had a ball! If someone is going through a storm, don’t knock them. Just love them and know they are coming out of it. If they have any #Tigerblood in them. They are coming out blazin!! Blazin meaning absolutely awesome. Ciao peeps.

"The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." Mark 11:29

My Inner Jack Black

This morning I woke up with my face smashed on my mattress. I mean smashed hard. I quietly thought, "This can't be good for my face, is it stretching it out?" Then I tried some movement and realized my neck hurt. I couldn't move my neck. I felt the sun beating down on my face. Reveled in it a bit. Then said, “Screw it, I'm moving my neck.” Pain disappeared, the day has officially started. I briefly reviewed last night events. I rocked out like Jack Black did in “School of Rock.” Do you remember his freaking intensity, in front of his classroom? He didn't care what anyone else in the room thought of him. He just cared about the music. Well, on my end I rocked out all night until the sun came up. Dog went to sleep and said, "You're on your own, I'm out. Wake me up when it’s time to eat."

For some reason I just realized YouTube had all of my favorite Gospel Jamz. I am a little late, I know. I told you I'm always in my own world. Well, this revelation resulted in me rocking out. I mean really rocking out. No beverage, no extreme gear, just me and the music. When was the last time you rocked out? Did you allow yourself to go completely there, just you and the music? Singing aloud and full of joy? Whenever I catch glimpses of myself in the midst of great enjoyment. I have to laugh at myself. I commend those that rock out. It takes great chutzpah to say, “I'm about to party with or without you.” They tell the music, “It's just you and me baby, let's go.” So hears to rocking out! Just in case, you have forgotten how. Watch “School of Rock.” Jack Black will teach you in insurmountable ways. Happy Thursday!

"Dude, I service society by rocking. I'm out there on the front lines liberating people with my music. Rocking ain't no walk in the park, lady."  Jack Black "School of Rock"

Where Did You Last See Your Passion?

Where did you last see your passion? I mean really see it. I'm not talking about glimpses of it, when it decided to push through and say, “Hello, is anyone there?” For some of us it may have been childhood. When you were doing your school play. Or it may have been when you were first introduced to multiplications and your teacher called you to the chalk board. You fell in love with math that day. It may have been your first flight. That's when you knew you wanted to be a pilot. Or was it the first time you had your hair pressed. Something about being in the beauty salon. You knew, you wanted to do hair. I remember when I was young, my mom's beauty salon was my playground. Me and my cousin would color our Barbie’s hair and wash it in the shampoo bowl. My cousin loved the salon and that became her passion.

The last time I seen my passion was in New York. I mean really seen it. Of course, I've seen glimpses of it since then. I have definitely lived a passion filled life since New York. But, New York is where I lived, ate, and breathed my one true passion. I know with every part of me, that New York is where I last seen it. New York is where I will have to go and pick it up. When? I don’t know. But if you remember where you last seen yours, go pick it up. It's waiting for you. Your passion doesn't have an expiration date. We all know once you pick it up, the world is yours for the taking. That's when the party really begins.

Laughter and Why I Love You

To experience laughter is truly a gift. I recognize it, while in the midst of deep laughter. To laugh so hard that tears come to your eyes or pain in your stomach. Those are the best moments! I don't want a day to go by without laughter in it. When you're in its presence, nothing else matters. It requires all of your attention and will not settle for anything less.  It's absolutely beautiful when you're filled with laughter and your circumstances are telling you otherwise.

I love you laughter. You're available anytime, no matter how late or early. You show up in the most tragic moments, to the most joy filled moments. You have the ability of making pretty much anyone, absolutely attractive. You have a wonderful trademark, a smile. You do not ask more of someone, than to just be open. When you are truly present. Even the most guarded individual can't restrict you. Now that I think about it. You're also pretty bold. I like that. With me, you just come rushing through and I let you go all out. I love you laughter. Me and you…we go way back. Let's continue our journey. Because frankly, you are quite a hoot and I wouldn't change a thing about you.

A smile starts on the lips, A grin spreads to the eyes, A chuckle comes from the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, Overflows, and bubbles all around." - Carolyn Birmingham

If You Met the "One"

If you knew, with every part of your being that you have truly met the “one." What would you do? I know most women would probably jump up and down, and do the happy dance. But for some this realization would cause them to stop in their tracks. When I find out things that are so outstanding, that would cause most to scream in joy. I stop in my tracks, may bow down to my knees, and probably cry in all honesty. I know with great power there is great responsibility. So, if the “one” appeared and as much bliss which goes with it. I know there is much required also. You may embark upon raising the future through your offspring. You may be involved with nurturing the wounds of someone’s past. I do not take lightly the wonderful gifts that are placed in my hands. But I also recognize, it is just the beginning. There’s a long road that lies ahead. Although, I am not concerned with what others may think of me. There is someone that I answer to and care in ridiculous numbers what he thinks. And that is none other than God. For at the end of it all, I pray that he says, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.” Enjoy your day.
